The Craft
Every piece of jewellery tells a story of skilled hands and genuine passion.
High Jewellery
In Virgilio’s Milanese atelier, the art of goldsmithing is not merely a craft but a living legacy — one that unites three generations in a single gesture: elevating metal and stones into forms of pure beauty.
This tradition was born in 1930 in Naples, when grandfather Eduardo Virgilio founded the workshop that began a journey of mastery, handed down through three generations.
Today, Roberto Virgilio — trained abroad like his predecessors — proudly carries forward over thirty years of experience, where each creation unfolds from the sketch to the final setting, personally overseeing every stage of the process.
The exceptional quality of craftsmanship and of the precious stones employed allows the house to stand out as a true example of Made in Italy excellence.
Artisan Technique and Creative Responsibility
- Design & models meticulously hand-drawn with millimetric precision.
- Lost-wax casting, forging, chasing, and setting: the entire value chain remains within the atelier.
- Meticulous selection of every stone and metal, in line with the highest standards of fine jewellery.
- One-to-one finishing: each stone is hand-polished on every single piece.
A Global Artisan Vision
Virgilio does not follow trends: it creates unique, timeless pieces. Each item tells a story, giving voice to a craftsmanship culture that—while deeply rooted in Italian tradition—aims to engage with the highest international standards of fine jewellery.
The result is a production that draws on a century-old family heritage—machines, tools, techniques—while looking to the future with the responsibility of ensuring artistry, quality, and personality in every single piece.
